Burns Environmental: Preserving Biodiversity, Protecting Infrastructure!

Vegetation Management Services

Burns Environmental Specializes in vegetation management services for preserving native species and native habitats as well as protecting infrastructures such as roads, power lines, pipelines, and industrial sites.

We also offer such services as cataloging of existing native species, elimination of exotic species, and re-vegetation with appropriate species.
There are two very important purposes for vegetation management. One is environmental, and the other is related to the function of everyday life.
It is "in" to be "green," but, there is a lot more to protecting our environment than recycling and buying green products. Most people understand the need to preserve the rain forests of the world because of the oxygen they produce, and the carbon dioxide they consume while doing so. Most people understand the need to preserve the biodiversity of almost any region. Losing one species, known or unknown, is a terrible loss to science, and medicine, not to mention the other potentially devastating environmental problems relating to the loss of any species. If you think of our life cycle as a chain, and each species as a link, then the loss of any link breaks the chain. It may have only a small effect, or the effect may go unnoticed for years, or it could be an out and out disaster!
Saving rain forests is important, preserving our own biodiversity is equally important! In fact, the greatest threat to our environment today is loss of biodiversity in any region!
  • Infrastructure: Transportation, communication, energy, agriculture, and water

Without some form of vegetation management, our infrastructure would crumble! Our roads would disappear, our transportation would cease, communication and electric lines would fall, disaster would follow. Vegetation is invasive, it is either controlled, or in control.

Preserving our communication lines, power lines, pipelines, transportation, water, and waterways is important for industry, home, recreation, and food supply. Preserving biodiversity in our forests, rangelands, and waters is important to the health and continued function of our environment. This is why we are proud to be involved in the field of vegetation management!
